Our history

Youth Constructing Dreams Fila Inc. was created in Tulare, California, United States in 2022 with a noble and ambitious mission: to carry out management activities to develop projects aimed at improving the lives of children, young people and people in need. vulnerability in El Salvador, all through FUNDAFILIA based in El Salvador.

The idea came from the Alfaro Rodríguez Family (María A. Rodríguez de Alfaro and Roberto R. Alfaro) and father Mauricio Rodríguez, together they had the desire to generate a positive and sustainable impact in vulnerable communities, the founders of Youth Constructing Dreams Fila Inc. came together with a common goal.

Since its inception, the foundation has been noted for its innovative approach to fundraising and responsible resource management. Through management campaigns, strategic collaborations with companies and committed donors, YCDF has managed to generate a constant flow of financial support.

YCDF’s activities have transcended borders and have focused on providing educational opportunities in various areas of culture, access to health services, and promoting inclusion and equal opportunities for disadvantaged people in El Salvador.

Today, Youth Constructing Dreams Fila Inc. continues its tireless work, expanding its impact and collaborating with various organizations to maximize the reach of its projects. With a hopeful vision and a focus on collective well-being, the foundation is heading towards a future where solidarity and sustainable development are the fundamental pillars of a more just and equitable world. Today its CEO is Mrs. María A. Rodríguez de Alfaro, while Father Mauricio Merino is the CFO and Jaritza Alfaro serves as secretary of the foundation.

Our work

The work of Youth Constructing Dreams Filia is reflected in each of the FUNDAFILIA projects that are executed through the four strategic areas: 1) Strategic Area for the Promotion of Christian Training and Spirituality, 2) Strategic Area for Promotion and Youth Development, 3) Strategic Area of ​​Rescue and Promotion of Human and Cultural Values ​​and, 4) Strategic Area of ​​Comprehensive Preventive Health.

To support these projects, management teams have been created located in different states in the United States. The management teams that have been created play a fundamental role in the process of collecting donations to carry out the Youth Constructing Dreams Fila Inc. and FUNDAFILIA projects. These teams are made up of committed and passionate people, who share a common vision of generating a positive impact on society.

Each team has specific roles and responsibilities, working in synergy to guarantee efficient and transparent management of the resources obtained. Its main objective is to ensure that donations are used effectively and responsibly, maximizing their impact on projects.

The management team is responsible for designing creative and effective fundraising strategies. Through awareness campaigns, fundraising events, raffles and alliances with committed donors and companies, these professionals work tirelessly to capture the attention of potential collaborators and donors, inspiring them to join the cause.

In addition, the teams are responsible for maintaining close and transparent communication with donors, providing them with information about the progress and results of the projects. Trust and transparency are fundamental pillars in the relationship with collaborators, which guarantee continuous participation and constant support.
